• Although my campaign for the role of Activities Officer was unsuccessful, I finished 4th out of 16 other contenders with 850 votes. I experienced a lot from it including:
• Appealed for the votes of 40,000 students at the University.
• Ran a Facebook page, scheduled posts and ran competitions throughout the campaign.
• Produced a manifesto, posters, flyers with the use of online photo editing services.
• Wrote, directed, edited and starred in a parody campaign video with over 13k views.
• Condensed my manifesto points into a concise 1 minute speech that was tailored to suit different audiences during lecture shout outs to theatres containing hundreds of students.

• Jane taught me a lot about journalism and tested my knowledge by setting me writing assignments throughout the week, marking them and giving me feedback. This experience helped improve my writing skills tremendously.
