Quality Control Coordinator
CurrentI am currently the Quality Control Coordinator for the Peninsula Corridor Electrification Project (PCEP), a key component of the Caltrain Modernization program. The PCEP will electrify the Caltrain Corridor from San Francisco’s 4th and King Caltrain Station to approximately the Tamien Caltrain Station, convert diesel-hauled to Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains, and increase service up to six Caltrain trains per peak hour per direction.As a QC coordinator working closely with the primary contractor, Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc., I handle the documentation, organization, and transmittal of all project work, including quality assurance audits, daily inspection reports, material receipts, lab reports, calibration certificates, project discrepancies, and all documents/processes pertaining to the Quality Management System. Another aspect of my position is the implementation of an employee on-boarding and quality training program, in addition to working with a third party and the Federal Railroad Association (FRA) on the management of a drug and alcohol testing program in order to be compliant with the FRA 219.
