Award Winning Creative Consultant, Design Educator, Entrepreneur, Health Care and Disability Rights Advocate. As co-owner of Hatcher Design Office, I specialize in creative communications and human-centered design solutions for organizations contributing to our collective good.As a long-time adjunct professor of Graphic Design at Towson University and guest lecturer at MICA (my alma mater), I find great joy in supporting students on their journey to a creative and fulfilling career. As an advocate working to make the world a better place for people with disabilities and complex medical needs like my son, and as Creative Director and Board Vice President of Little Lobbyists, I facilitate communication with legislators and families, discuss the impact of legislation, and participate in policy development. I've provided media support for print, online, and broadcast media, including: Washington Post, New York Times, Vox, Politico, New York Magazine, The Independent, STAT news, Business Insider, Univision, + more. I have also been a featured speaker at many events, most notably in the Capitol with Speaker Pelosi and Members of Congress, and at an event in support of the Affordable Care Act with Vice President Kamala Harris.
