Community Health Improvement Manager
Responsible for Community Health Improvement for Trinity Health Muskegon ensuring completion and implementation of Community Health Needs Assessments on behalf of hospital. Expert in federal compliance issues for non-profit hospitals, community benefit regulations and creating opportunities for leveraging funding. Manage multiple staff leaders and community stakeholders for collaborative groups, community and school-based prevention programs, social impact investments, and special projects with C-Suite leaders both locally and with system leaders. Design and write local, state, and federal grants, providing management, evaluation, and monitoring and have brought in over $8.5 million directly to organization. Develop media plans, campaigns, awards, board reports, press releases and articles on behalf of organization. Work with senior leadership on policy issues and advocacy needs with local, state, and federally elected leaders. Advise state and federal officials on policy implementation issues and provide advocacy for programs such as prevention programs, health access, substance use disorders and social determinates of health opportunities.
