Horses, hemp, and herbs. I serve and maintain a small acreage of organic homestead farming and community engagement at my family farm. We run a small CSA box of veggies and herbs in the summer for a dedicated customer base and gather organic chicken and duck eggs all year round. I raise these chickens from day-old and we're on our 5th generation of farm hens. We're also raising honey bees and a small orchard of apple trees. My mother's previous summer camp business has morphed into city kid engagement days, and helping people get in touch with the importance of our green spaces. In 2019 our farmette was approved to grow hemp, and we are always looking to learn smart new ways to engage in small-scale agriculture.
