Joining JVC as a graduate and product management assistant, I progressed within the organization, culminating in being appointed as Product Manager of the Audio & Headphones categories which generated 10% of the region’s turnover. I worked closely with headquarter in Japan to plan product mix, pricing and distribution and turned this into a local marketing plan ensuring sales success through, collating and analyzing market trends, competitor information, distribution levels and sell through velocity. I successfully launched a new category in 2005 within the Mp3 Player market identifying niche areas where we could succeed and introduced models to meet these demands.
