Laura is our State and Local Tax Practice Leader that brings over 11 years of experience in public accounting to the table, serving as a trusted advisor to our clients. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from California State University – Chico, with a minor in Agricultural Business, giving her a unique perspective on the financial needs of businesses in this sector. As an Enrolled Agent, Laura is federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS across a broad range of tax matters. Her expertise spans federal and state tax compliance , state and local tax, and tax consulting. She has a proven track record of success working with a diverse clientele, including family-owned businesses, construction companies, and professional service firms. Beyond her technical skills, Laura is passionate about building strong relationships with her clients. She takes the time to understand their specific needs and goals, providing them with strategic tax advice and guidance. Laura is also a strong advocate for the community. She is a member of the Women's Energy Network and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, actively contributing to the advancement of women and young professionals in the business world.
