I provide leadership of the gift management team to ensure accurate recording of donations from a variety of sources including ACH transfers, stock donations, credit card processing and third party donation platforms, donor advised funds, overseas revenue, checks, and cash. The team supports fundraisers in reaching their goals by collaborating with other Development Operations teams through pipeline management, soft credits, solicitor credits, and record management. We collaborate with colleagues in the Finance department to reconcile fundraising totals to cash revenue. In addition, I provide expertise to implement new processes, suggest improvements, and continue moving the USO gift operations functions towards a better state.

I draft gift agreements with the associate vice president to ensure compliance with all standards and protocol for gift acceptance at the George Washington University. I led the project team to implement a brand new streamlined system for the creation, approval, routing, and processing of gift agreements, after which I handed off the day-to-day tasks in order to lead a pilot group of administrative staff in a pooled project resource model. I am extensively familiar with the ins and outs of managing various stakeholders and keeping forward momentum. I can also pivot to new priorities easily, always placing the mission first.
