I was an Associate in the The Leadership Development Program specifically in the Controller Development Program at Wetzel Brothers an RR Donnelley Company, which is a printing and fulfillment company that specializes in Point-of-Purchase retail signage and displays. At Wetzel in my 2 and a half years, I experienced working in multiple departments including Shipping, Receiving, Fulfillment, Finishing, Pressroom, Prepress, Design, Estimating, and for majority for of the time in the accounting department, where I rotated throughout all areas of the department. For 9 months I held the role as our Accounts Payable Specialist and trained the new person in this position as well as jumped back in to take over when she was out for maternity leave. I have also been in charge of entering our hourly payroll in the past. The last role I held at Wetzel was their Accounts Receivable Specialist, where I billed jobs, created invoices, posted customer payments, ran credit cards, tracked our aging with collection emails/calls and everything that goes on in our AR area as well as assisting the Controller with journal entries and entering inventory. I was the assistant to my Controller and was learning that position along side being our full-time AR Specialist. Outside of my rotation I held many other projects, I was our Project Manager of our pegboard paper website and fulfilled inventory pegboard paper orders as they came in through the website. I was Wetzel Brothers lead Tradeshow/Event Coordinator for two years, planning 3 tradeshows for our Salesmen and have helped plan other company appreciation events. I was involved in recruiting efforts for our Leadership Development Program. Also I helped with tightening processes internally within our company in all my rotations. In being an associate I was always taking on special projects as requested throughout every department from production procedure projects to analyzing pricing grids for upper management.
