Life’s never followed a script for me—and thank goodness—my career has proven that. My journey began with a spark during an internship at Queen’s Medical Center’s psychiatric unit in Hawaii, where I first glimpsed the power of empathy and resilience, leading me toward psychology.After college, my first role as Director of a memory care facility brought me close to families supporting loved ones with dementia. This deep, meaningful work taught me resilience, compassion, and the power of emotional intelligence—qualities that shaped my future as a leader and coach.Eager for more growth, I moved into consulting, working across healthcare, financial services, M&A, and eventually leading global operations across EMEA. Each mile taught me that stepping into new territories—whether in life or work—leads to great transformations. This belief inspired my Psychology Today article, “How to Change Your Life Through Travel.”After years on the road, I took a sabbatical to reconnect with purpose, which became a bestselling book, Radical Sabbatical. That’s when I discovered how I could make the greatest impact: coaching leaders to reach their highest potential, lead with purpose, and find more joy along the way.Today, as a Master Certified Coach (MCC), I lead Berdéo Group, LLC, partnering with C-suite executives and Directors. My work isn’t just about refining strategies; it’s about unveiling hidden truths that fuel success. Leveraging neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and actionable insights, I empower leaders to transform challenges into defining growth opportunities.
