The master thesis consisted of creating guidelines for helping the Volvo design team to allocate information between the dashboard and the head-up display in Volvo cars.The study followed a human-centred design approach, and ended up in a booklet grouping an "allocation model" as well as explanatory guidelines.The methods used during the design process were interviews, observations, card sorting, driving tasks, low-fidelity prototypes, video prototypes, and user evaluations.
