I have learned that Biological Engineering teaches you 10% of the technical information you need to know while giving you the problem solving and critical thinking skills required to learn/find the other 90%.I recently finished a Quality Assurance Internship at Syncroness – a product development company. I developed and wrote the protocol for Configuration Management which will be applied to all their future medical device and aerospace projects to ensure regulatory compliance. I was also able to utilize my self-motivation and grow my ability to manage my own timeline and complete this project.While at Utah State University, I have learned and grown my leadership skills being involved in the Society of Women Engineers as the Vice President of Outreach, where I focused my team on community outreach and service. All these experiences have helped to teach me the value of teamwork and effective leadership, as I believe when we work together, we can make a product much better than if we were to do it alone!I graduated May 2020 and I am looking to transition into the medical device industry. I am looking forward to joining a design team and applying all of the information I have learned in my undergrad!
