About Laurel Smith

A lot of people go to college for 9 years....not all of them are Doctors…Although always passionate about interior design, in college I decided to pursue a degree in the healthcare field and serve in the Army upon graduation. As an Army Occupational Therapist working with Soldiers who had been injured or disabled, I became acutely aware of the connection between our physical environment and one's health and well-being. As my life roles changed I decided to combine my unique perspectives from Occupational Therapy and apply them to my passion for interior design. My mission is to create lasting wellness at home through interior design because as so eloquently stated by Winston Churchill, "we make our homes then our homes make us."
