Program Manager on the Taco Bell Chain Promotions Team at McLane Foodservice.

Program planner on the Taco Bell Team. Responsible for assigned commodities on national promotions and regional tests. Constantly communicating with UFPC (Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op) and the brand on new items, timing of inventory in the DCs and stores. Develop supplier relationships by working together on allocating product of a depleting item and making a smooth transition to the new item.

Responsible for inventory planning for one of the 18 McLane foodservice distribution centers in the country. Correspond with logistics analyst to ensure on-time deliveries to the DCs from the vendor. Work daily with the DC's Inventory Control Manager and the receiving department to ensure accurate receiving, balanced inventory by compartments (dry, refer, and frozen), and solutions for products with shelf life issues. Practice just-in-time (JIT) planning method to minimize days in inventory, but maintain fill rates of 99.96% and above in both DCs. Develop vendor relationships to streamline production and procurement.In May 2012, I took on additional responsibility by planning a commodity system-wide. I have developed an open communication relationship with my vendor contact. When McLane's concepts run national promotions, I work one-on-one with my contact to ensure supply, but keeping in mind product shelf life and DC space constraints.

Volunteer Assistant to the Executive Director. Composed event fliers, summer camp brochures, and press releases to advertise Museum events. Researched vendors and received price quotes. Collected pricing for craft supplies and decorations. Corresponded with guests/speakers about date/times, presentation time, and Museum accomodations available.

The primary role of an Internet Media Services (IMS) student worker is to streamline videos and lecture recordings online for students and faculty. My organizational initiative came in the form of an Excel spreadsheet which enhanced the productivity of the department. Prior to my spreadsheet videos were misplaced, uploaded multiple times, and frequently not formatted correctly.
