I am currently a Geology and Geophysics student at Missouri University of Technology, and am hoping to take an emphasis in geochemistry. On the Mars Rover team, I am currently researching the applications of reflectance spectroscopy and near-infrared Raman spectroscopy in the search for life. I am also involved in the C. L. Dake Geological Society as the organization's treasurer. In the future, I plan to take a minor in Geological Engineering. I love to research, and would like to expand my horizons in planetary science and geochemistry.I have recently begun research under Dr. Nanzad, assisting her with mapping geochemical plots and researching into subduction-zone magmatic properties, as well as magnetism associated with converging tectonic plates.
