Hi there! 👋 I'm Lauren and I love crafting engaging design material for organizations working on climate change and sustainability issues.Ever since writing a high school essay on Arcosanti, the experimental town in Arizona that is attempting to combine principles of architecture with ecology, I became enamored with the idea that design can be used to address issues of sustainability and climate change. I studied sustainability in school, earning my Master in Sustainable Transportation and my undergrad in Sustainable Development. Similarly, art and design have been a passion that has followed me through my life - I accidentally earned a minor in Studio Art during my undergrad because I kept taking art classes for fun, and continue to pick up a wide array of creative hobbies today. I love that I can combine these two passions by working on interesting creative projects with mission-driven organizations and nonprofits.Outside of work life, I LOVE gardening (despite my lack of skills), reading (let me know of any good fantasy book with solid female character recs you have), and taking care of my many animals (three cats, one dog, and six chickens to be exact).
