Beginning in 2006, began providing textile, apparel product development expertise to the apparel industry. With taking a full-time position at CFL Sourcing from 2010 to 2017, I worked extensively in the technical and casual apparel textile and manufacturing realm. Returned to consulting in 2018 and currently offering expertise in apparel and home textile products. Offer extensive textile and manufacturing resources domestically and globally. Experienced in all phases of market research, conceptual design, fabric development and product sourcing/costing, specification/sampling processes to manufacturing procurement and distribution.

Directed the product and textile development process with key brands (Customers: The Duluth Trading Company, Hannah Andersson, Harley Davidson) across all clothing categories. Introduced and developed innovative proprietary performance fabrics which led to key growth within customer's businesses. Sourced appropriate mills and factories, establishing strategic relationships suited to customer's needs. Worked with product teams at key accounts in merchandising line planning, technical/performance offerings, fashion and comfort product attributes, and served as key liaison with Asia and Central American based sourcing offices to coordinate product development efforts. Led extensive new vendor resource research and development as well as fostered and maintained long-standing and meaningful key mill and manufacturing relationships to benefit customers. CFL Wisconsin is a Midwest based, US office of apparel sourcing agent, CFL Enterprise, LTD of Hong Kong, China.

Served as one of the leaders of the Design Team at Lands' End. Managed corporate fabric department across categories of Men's and Women's casual and dress apparel, Outerwear, Children's, Home and Accessories. Led the textile development seasonally as it related to merchandising line development. Directed company's resources for textile mills globally. Established and maintained relationships with overseas offices in directing efforts of textile devopment, mill management, sampling and production. Developed proprietary fabrications unique to Lands' End and helped build new businesses seasonally. Managed in-house staff of CAD textile design artists and graphic design in creation of all Lands' End prints and patterns. Coordinated all fabric testing and set performance standards for technical fabrics. Developed corporate color palettes seasonally, and coordinated pattern development for designer's needs.

Offered expertise to help establish a start up men's specialty catalog and retailer. Provided expertise in fabric, product development and merchandising.

Designed and managed Men's line for upscale, unique mail order catalog retailer. Worked with sources (mills and factories) throughout the world to design, source, cost and develop specialty apparel. Researched and authenticated historically iconic clothing concepts. Introduced the company to legendary brands such as Willis and Geiger, Mackintosh, Magee, Etro and others.

Managed internal product development process for contemporary jeans and sportswear retailer. Provided leadership in private label design, production and merchandising.
