For as long as I can remember, I have been excited by learning and have dreamt of sharing my passions and inspiring others through teaching. The dynamic field of law and legal writing captured my heart from a fairly young age. Since completing my A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved program, I have advanced from intern, to administrative/legal assistant, to paralegal. I now have 13 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in employment and labor law. Additionally, after over 20 years of dance training and participating in competitions as an athlete myself, I now have over 6 years of teaching experience, teaching tap dance classes to all ages and levels in a private studio setting. I have also obtained my Masters in Educational Psychology: Learning & Cognition, a graduate certificate in College Teaching, a graduate certificate in Instructional Design & Technology, and have completed levels 1 and 2 of the iTap Online Teacher Training Program. My next goal is to become involved in teaching and instructional design at the college level. I am also interested in becoming involved in the development of training programs, particularly in the dance and legal fields. My research interests currently revolve around motivation, emotions, emotional regulation, and burnout.
