I managed production of the 2014-15 season of Minnesota Public Radio's Class Notes Videos, a series of twelve educational videos and curriculum on classical music topics for use in 1st-6th grade classrooms. Kids love the videos and teachers love having a high quality teaching resource for their classrooms.My guidance led to a successfully completed production season. I streamlined communications, production schedules and improved collaborations between the management, production, and editorial teams. I completed the project on time and on budget. What I brought to the project, beyond my strong project management skills was: - an enthusiasm and understanding of high quality programming for kids, - empathy for the hardworking team members, - an understanding of video/audio/web production - and a curiosity about improving the process for the benefit of the team and the final product quality.

The amazing thing about Children's Circle preschool was the beautiful, sweet, child-centered environment. The owner and lead teacher focused her attention on her students and their families and had filled the classes through word of mouth for over 20 years. When the time came to have a web presence and begin marketing the school more widely, I kept the strengths of the school in the forefront of all our communication efforts.I provided marketing strategy and website development. Enrollment requests increased by 50%. I also provided internal communications and educational outreach for attending families. Parents received monthly updates and expanded resources.

I hired and managed a team to design and produce a pilot concert archive website for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. We tested site architecture, design, production process, and audience potential for streaming of concerts. I kept the project on-budget, on-time and completed site and project analysis used to create the Orchestra’s current and fully implemented site.

I provided communications strategy and grant management for a $50,000 grant from the Mellon Foundation to strengthen relationships with classical music artists and administrators. Implemented a CRM solution for tracking relationships and archiving communication records.

I managed day-to-day coordination for the national classical music programs of Minnesota Public radio/American Public Media. Including administrative, budget and organizational support. In this role, I also organized multi-day events for media professionals and high profile organizational leaders for the Classical Music Initiative and produced weekly Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra broadcasts.
