Responsibilities included instructing junior and senior sailors from novice to advanced level. I coached a group of young sailors on a fixed basis; 2 days a week for national squad level. The job allowed me to develop as a coach by improving my interpersonal skills, being a good observer, providing feedback, building rapport, and planning the training sessions. Worked as a harbour watch during summer harbour season. I managed 700 berths, and provided customer service throughout the season, including responsibility of crane operation for haul outs.

In the summer of 2018 I assisted the Quality Assurance department at Norsk Titanium. I gained experience in the processes and methods involving running and maintaining an ISO9001-AS9100D aerospace quality management system. I assisted the quality engineers in their daily tasks involving all core processes of the business including managing my own projects and collaborating remotely with colleagues between the Eggemoen Technology centre in Norway and production centre in Plattsburgh, New York. Keeping well organised, structured, fearless, combined with being a good communicator were essential skills to have and employ.

Responsibilities included service and repairs on warehouse equipment, and warehouse itself. Occasionally acted as a lighting technician on smaller jobs, and rigger on larger jobs. Carried out deliveries and returns of equipment and mobile stages (due to my BE trailer license) for events. The job required me to be proactive, independent, and a quick thinker to be able to solve on-site issues in short time frames. I made good use of my time management, interpersonal, and customer care skills. It also taught me the importance of being assertive when communicating ideas to the crew.
