Veriheal is a telehealth platform that connects patients with doctors who can guide and certify alternative health options. My role was to bring the company mission to visual life. I played a pivotal role in scaling the company from a small start-up to one of the nation’s leading voices in medical cannabis advocacy in 2 years. My main responsibilities included content writing, and creating visual assets for the company website, social media, and marketing campaigns.As the company grew, I eventually took on the role of Content Director. I oversaw a team of 15 people (in-house and outsourced) with talents that included managers in outreach, SEO optimization, copywriters, video production, and social media. Alongside producing designs for various marketing campaigns, I developed a successful organizational system that ensured the entire team worked cohesively to deliver optimum content that promotes the company’s values and mission.

We are a passionate coalition comprised of health-tech doctors, marketers, and dispensaries who aid in transforming the industry so that all patients can someday receive the medicine that they truly deserve. We aim to change the image of alternative medicine as we seek to create more ease for all users, growth in the science, easier access for all patients, and more transparency in the industry.

My position as practice manager was to develop office policy and procedures from the ground up in an effort to initiate a dynamically effective flow for a psychiatry office that was in its beginning stages. My duties included but were not limited to:• Designing and maintaining an organized file system for patient medical records. • Monitoring billing and payments. • Supervising, training, and leading other office staff.• Researching and staying informed with up to date and innovative mental health treatment methods.• Ensuring compliance with all healthcare laws, regulations, and ethical standards.• Designing marketing collateral and managing public relations.• Being the main point of contact for the practice, scheduling appointments, meetings, and intakes. • Providing dependable support for all psychiatry patients and staff.
