As a supervisor it is my job to be a master at multitasking and to be able to stay calm in the most hectic of circumstances. I communicate with customers to try to find them what they need efficiently and in a friendly manner. It is my job to be aware of my surroundings at all times and take responsibility for the happiness of my fellow employees and of customers. I am also responsible for memorizing many codes and making logical decisions for my team quickly. I work as part of a team to be efficient. Within this position I have learned how to make quick decisions and to manage a team efficiently, being genuinely supportive and confident in my ability to lead.

• This summer I completed an internship with the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. During this internship I worked with many horticulturists learning how to properly manage many plant species native to Texas. I also learned to identify many more native species. At this internship I also received firsthand experience on how to propagate a large population of native trees, by helping to seed and re-seed the loblolly pine of Bastrop for future growth in Bastrop State Park.

Cashier/Postal Clerk Cashier -As a cashier I was responsible for making customers happy, selling product, keeping my area clean, knowing my produce and being a good cash handler. Postal Clerk -As a postal clerk I was responsible for being knowledgeable on how a customer should send their mail, filling out important postage forms, being a good cash handler and knowing how to deal with difficult customers. Working in a grocery store I also had to work in other departments that needed help and be a team player. I have experience in stocking grocery, doing inventory, and working in food service. I also have a lot of experience in floral; making arrangements for customers and making displays in the store.

This was the first job I had ever had, I was fifteen. I did many things for the judge and his secretary including filing and editing paperwork, editing exhibits, organized forms for the Judge and filling them out, running errands, dropping off documents to be notarized, making copies of forms, getting water, washing dishes for the office and witnessing cases.
