Everything is moving around you, upgrades, changes, new ways of doing things, out with the old and in with the new and well, we all must adapt to that change. If you are staying the same then you are falling behind. It took me one Salesforce demo to realize I was stuck in a place resistive of change. I have spent almost 10 years in the Transportation Industry getting used to the normal, the ancient ways of doing things and suddenly Salesforce entered my life and opened my eyes to all things new. I come from a Customer Service background which later morphed into a Training role. I have now taken that knowledge and expertise of many years in Customer Service and all things Transportation and entered the IT world as a Business Analyst. My knowledge of Transportation, Business Processes and even Customer Service has provided me this opportunity to work alongside the business to modernize the way we do things and create a 360 view for better customer interactions. That is where Salesforce comes in.In my time as a Business Analyst, I have been a huge part of successfully launching Old Dominion Freight Line Service (Including Transportation Services, Expedite, Tradeshow, Household and Special Rollouts) into the Salesforce platform. Salesforce has transformed our customer journey as well as created visibility not only for leaders but for the Sales team as well.
