Thanks for stopping by! I've had a fun and exploratory journey to get to where I am now. You might scroll down to my work experience and wonder what I'm all about and that is what I'm going to tell you now.My early passions in life were music and math. I excelled early on in both. One of my dad's favorite stories is when I was three or four and was learning how to count. I was so excited at recognizing the pattern, that I decided to stay up late to count to 1000.So here I am now, I have a Bachelor in Saxophone performance, a certificate in Actuarial Science, and a handful of roles in the insurance industry spanning between Actuarial roles and Data Analyst roles. I've loved working with data, building tools, automating processes, and debugging. Over the course of my career, I was fortunate enough to work with a lot of great people who later encouraged me to come work for them, which is why I've been able to work so many roles.I was largely self taught up until I went to App Academy, where I learned full stack web development, and worked with a lot of amazing people.Looking back to counting to 1000 for the first time (and probably only time in my life?), I still have the same sense of wonder and determination in learning new skills and mastering them. If I don't know how to do something yet, its not to difficult, I just haven't figured it out yet.
