Interior designer, author and mentor. In the realm of interior design, I possess an innate talent for translating a client's unique essence into exquisite, one-of-a-kind living spaces. Each project is an expression of texture and color, form and space. Because your needs, desires and lifestyle are unique and your home should reflect that.The art of transforming spaces, turning them into backdrops that not only elevate everyday life but also make your lifestyle a whole lot easier and more beautiful. That's where I shine, bringing my expertise to the table.I'm the founding director of Sisällä, an interior design practice located in Melbourne, Australia. Over the course of more than two decades, I have worked extensively across various interior design sectors from the residential abodes to the realm of commercial and retail design. I possess the distinction of a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design with Honors from Swinburne, alongside a Diploma of Arts in Interior Design & Decoration from RMIT.Sisällä came to life in 2012, born out of a fervent desire to craft opulent spaces that mirror the unique context, lifestyles, and personal desires of my clients. Our studio name, "sisällä," which means "inside" in Finnish, is a heartfelt tribute to my ancestors and a nod to my deep affection for Scandinavian-inspired interiors that seamlessly fuse aesthetics with functionality.Our projects at Sisällä have had the honor of gracing the stages of renowned awards programs, including the prestigious Australian Interior Design Awards. And let's not forget, we're practically regulars as five-time finalists in House & Garden's Top 50 Rooms.Sharing is caring, and I'm all about it! I take immense joy in mentoring both seasoned pros and emerging designers through The Design Society and software courses. I can also add author with the 2023 release of The New French Look and in 2024 Beachside Modern.

Sisalla Interior Design was founded in 2009 as I began to take on private interior design projects. I draw from my wealth of experience to bring clients the best interior design concepts and deliver in a professional manner with integrity.I am passionate to design interiors that reflect each clients individual requirements, aesthetics and budget. No two clients are the same and neither should every space. My work covers residential projects from kitchen and bathroom design, renovations, extensions and complete interior decoration concepts. I have worked on exclusive high-end residences through to smaller projects. I have also completed store design concepts for various fashion brands. Translating a brand philosophy into an interior space is something I am passionate about.
