I managed the marketing, organized events and purchased the apparel for the store. From the grand opening to present, I've written our monthly e-newsletter, managed our website, created print ads, managed our social media accounts and more. As event organizer, I coordinated all logistics for events including tailgates, Olympic Trials events with brand partners, scavenger hunt runs to local businesses and more. As apparel manager, I was in charge of biannually future buying with at least five brands, maintaining budget, editing incoming orders and keeping a pulse on what customers were buying and looking for.

As Assistant Director for Membership, my position was multi-faceted with a focus on membership retention and growth, customer service, and strategic event planning. As a result, I managed marketing campaigns to acquire and retain members to include design and copy, planned events for groups of 20 to 1,000, and marketed a large number of member rewards to UO alumni and friends. I also contributed to the writing and editing of alumni e-communications, uoalumni.com, and print pieces. Additionally, as someone who sees equity and inclusion as imperative, I also served on the University Relations Diversity Committee and spearheaded the planning for the 2012-2014 UO Multicultural Alumni Reunions.

In my role as marketing and membership assistant, I coordinated membership mailings, including acquisition and member benefit packages, customer service via phone, in person and all email sent to the general UO Alumni Association account. I also provided back-end web support for the alumni network. Additionally, I worked with the board of directors to provide statistics and advance membership strategies.

Behind-the-scenes preparations for the Eugene Celebration festival, including writing press releases, editing legal contracts, and creating ad copy to market the Eugene Celebration and its many aspects to the community. Additionally, I worked with local businesses small and large to manage the distribution of wristband sales throughout Lane County. I was also solely in charge of organizing and managing the KidZone block from choosing the entertainment, to scheduling set up, to working with vendors and volunteers.
