NJ SEEDS serves underprivileged inner-city 8th graders providing them with an upper level education and assistance in entering independent private high schools. During the first summer I performed a variety of clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of classes. During my remaining summers there, I tutored the students in English, Algebra, and Physics. I also acted as a mentor and counselor helping the students transition into High School.
