Prior to being named Vice President of Watershape University, Lauren managed the GENESIS business line since its 2016 merger with the National Swimming Pool Foundation. Lauren's long-term non-profit experience extends back to 2002 when she began working for the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals, assuming a variety of positions of increasing responsibilities. Prior to that she worked for Aristech Acrylics, a sheet supplier to the hot tub industry. What has kept her in the industry? The people she has met and the friendships and partnerships forged through a shared love and passion for water. Lauren resides in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA having returned after many years of being away. She has two children, a step-son (and family,) a very dog-like ragdoll cat and a true love for sports. She has a BS in Chemistry and an MBA, both from the University of Pittsburgh.
