Overseeing the implementation of the UN Nutrition country support and supporting UN Nutrition member agencies and UN facilitators to support networking for nutrition at country level. Building and maintain links with UN country teams, networks, focal points and chairs and support UN country teams to embed a multi-sectoral approach for nutrition in United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation FrameworksSupport knowledge sharing and advocacy for nutrition with country advocacy/knowledge sharing.

REACH (Renewed Efforts Against Child Hunger and Undernutrition) is a country-led approach to scale-up proven and effective interventions addressing child undernutrition through the partnership and coordinated action of UN agencies, civil society, donors, and the private sector, under the leadership of national governments.• Provide support for the implementation of the REACH approach in 5 countries ensuring high quality work and deliverables in advocacy, knowledge sharing, policy development, planning, capacity development and monitoring and evaluation.• Advise and support on the integration of nutrition into multi-sectoral policy and planning processes and provide advice and inputs for the policy analysis process.• Provide guidance on the establishment of UN Network for SUN at country level.• Advise, review and provide inputs on UN nutrition strategies, messages and joint programming.• Work in close partnership with governments, UN agencies and other development partners.

Providing technical advice to nutrition and food security related programming for the Irish Aid Development programme in Sierra Leone and Liberia. Key areas of responsibility include partner and grant management, strategic direction and technical support for nutrition and food security, policy dialogue and coordination with national and international partners, liaison with Irish Aid globally.

Technical advisor for quality improvement for social health (Mother-child care) in public hospitals, capacity building for clinical instructors in training centers, including team building for midwives, paediatric nursing staff, doctors in departments for midwifery and paediatrics.
