• Strategically partner with sales and marketing business groups to design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, organizational design, change management, and team building.• Serve as the primary contact to assist employees in resolving employee relations issues and grievances by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.• Provide recruiting support, partnering with management teams to define job profiles, hiring best practices, including candidate selection to support business objectives.• Contribute to organizational design and job evaluation efforts as needed; ensure that all positions and organization structures are aligned with business objectives and desired outcomes.• Lead the performance management process for business units to ensure employees and managers are trained on the performance management processes; work with managers and employees to support the accomplishment of goal setting and development plans throughout the year, including advisement of annual merit adjustments.
• My role as Associate HR Business Partner and Human Resources Business Partner held the same responsibilities.
• Provided a high service level of HR partnership to managers and employees at the company’s San Francisco/Bay Area offices, and worked closely with the product and tech business partners to foster a positive work culture.• Partnered with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to create a seamless on-boarding experience for new team members. • Facilitated Benefits Enrollment, Summer Internship Program, Wellness Programs, and site-wide communications and events.• Handled performance management, including facilitating off-boarding process for voluntary and involuntary terminations.• Utilized Ceridian, Taleo, iCims, MyTime and Excel to create reports and analyze data and to assist with Workforce Planning, Affirmative Action, Merit Review Process, and ad hoc reporting.
•• Provided HR support including administering HR policies, managing employee relations, on-boarding new employees, processing associate status changes, and processed new-hire paperwork and training schedules. • Coordinated and administered the company’s Benefits program; researched insurance carriers for open enrollment, and worked as the point person for enrollments, terminations and changes. Managed COBRA enrollments and terminations. Reviewed, reconciled, and paid monthly insurance invoices.• Managed communications for all Employment Development Department and Workers’ Compensation inquiries, including investigations, responses and appeals to claims, as well attended hearings.• Assisted with recruiting by creating job descriptions and posting jobs on internal and external online job boards.• Coordinated company special events, including the handling of travel coordination, agendas, venue selection, menu planning, and onsite coordination.
