Serve as integral member of senior management team to establish and manage all human resources operations, develop workforce structure, hiring, and retention initiatives for multi-state start-up biotechnology company. Design and deliver full complement of HR programs and services for work force grown from less than 20 to over 120 staff members.• Conduct market analysis to determine scalable compensation structure; analyze and disseminate data from Radford and other compensation survey sources. • Lead review and approval of business justification for merit increases, bonus/equity plans, and compensation budget with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. • Provide HR generalist support to corporate headquarters, San Diego R&D site, field sales, and service team members.• Identify and implement optimal HRIS and payroll platforms, and continue upgrades to improve employee self-service HRIS.• Develop and execute leadership training in performance management, non-discrimination, compliance, and investigate and resolve employee issues.• Create and maintain Affirmative Action Plan, internal and external audits of workers’ compensation, 401(k), and SOX-compliant HR and payroll processes.
