Responsible for all financial and HR matters including banking relations, cash management, insurance, facilities, accounting, client services, order processing/production, billing, compensation and benefits management, and administration.Key Accomplishments:• Transitioned accounting system for integration with the company’s Claims Information Management System (CIMS) to eliminate data entry errors. Redesigned CIMS and integrated with estimating software platforms to eliminate duplicate data entry resulting in significant savings and efficiency• Established monthly metrics with CEO and Executive Management, which aided in identifying trends and enhancing profitability • Responsible for consolidating reporting from all operating divisions for weekly P&L flash estimates, month-end financials, quarterly and annual forecasts, and identified budget to actual variances• Established, monitored, and enforced accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, integrity, and regulatory and cybersecurity compliance• Oversaw payroll functions for 35-50 FT, PT, and hundreds of independent contractors across several companies throughout the US• Championed efforts to convert the server system (off location stacks) to Azure (Cloud product) on-schedule, on-budget, and error free • Managed overall security and internal control strengthening project as well as served on a team tasked with gaining SOC I and SOC 2 compliances• Project management, including designing, reviewing, and testing system enhancements for CIMS.
