About Laurie Phillips

Laurie brings compassion, understanding, and optimism to providing much needed and necessary services to the St. Louis community. Laurie's experience in both homeless services and mental health provides a strong platform for advocacy. Laurie is motivated to create change in the lives of individuals and for the entire community through access, innovation, and action. Laurie’s professional experience in social services and her passion for service leads to strong community partnerships and innovation.Laurie has both an MBA and MSW from Washington University in St. Louis, and is also a CPA. After working for 15 years in corporate finance, Laurie decided to move to the non-profit sector. Laurie is currently an adjunct faculty member at Washington University. Laurie sits on the Boards of several community organizations and several committees. She has both volunteer and professional experience in philanthropy, event management, strategic planning, executive leadership, and program development.
