I worked with the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Fellowship Program. A majority of my time was focused on Curriculum & Events. I handled logistics of hosting our Welcome Event and Closing Forum. As well, I helped manage the Canvas page and create new content for the following fellowship. However, I also was able to work with other components and helped in matching fellows with local businesses. I also worked on payments to vendors and reconciling hotel payments.

I worked in the Bureau of Global Public Affairs in the Global Campaigns Strategy Unit. While there, I helped coordinate communications and tactics between policy and public affairs stakeholders. I also designed messaging for the State Department's top foreign policy priorities. Finally, I organized and moderated a panel with the Undersecretary, Acting Assistant Secretary, and Spokesperson.

My main task was drafting proposals to bring international leaders to Indianapolis with the International Visitor Leadership Program. I also assisted in researching professional development programs for the James T. Morris Global Leadership Series. I worked on a project updating existing Sister Cities International Toolkits on reviving a dormant Sister City as well as planning an event amplifying the Dubai World Fair Expo.

I assisted in the day to day activities such as managing social media and updating the website. I also helped coordinate events for visiting exchange groups of students and adult delegates along with fundraisers such as the annual golf scramble. I databased student information and worked closely with helping our international interns adjust to life in the US.
