Establishing Disability To Mobility in 2013 was a dream come true for us. We wanted to help individuals with spinal cord injuries or diseases regain their independence through activity-based therapy at Project Walk. This led us to partner with Project Walk and become the Project Walk Recovery Foundation - Phoenix Chapter.As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, our mission was to improve the quality of life for those living with paralysis. We believed that alternative activity-based recovery treatments should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Our work provided hope and a chance for recovery to those who may have been given little to no hope.We were always on the lookout for new opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of those we served. While I had to step away from the foundation to focus on growing Project Pros, we were proud of the work we did. Unfortunately, Project Walk in Carlsbad, CA (the headquarters) went out of business, and the board in Phoenix decided to disband. Nonetheless, we take pride in the people we helped and the difference we made in their lives.
