Primary point-of-contact for a diverse portfolio of clients in health, wellness and active lifestyle industries. I was responsible for constant, consistent communication between The Basement team and our clients during the creative process. Successfully developed long-term relationships with clients; prepared and helped deliver presentations, including pitches for new business; scheduled agency traffic and deliverables; maintained accurate budgets and timelines; hired and managed partners as needed. The short-term employment was due to a cross-country move.

Project manager for three non-profit statewide initiatives dedicated to Central Indiana’s continued prosperity and growth. Managed design, advertising and digital needs for all initiatives, including weekly e-newsletters and maintenance of web properties and social channels; branded, promoted and executed complex statewide events; created multimedia and content in accordance with marketing strategy; successfully grew and maintained sponsor and member relationships.

As a part of the marketing team, I designed print and online collateral needed for the non-profit, updated the website, created social media content, planned and executed fundraising events, organized volunteer groups, and developed new marketing strategies to better position the organization and raise awareness of its mission.

I designed, sold, placed, and managed the financial accounts for all advertisements in Butler University's student-run newspaper, The Butler Collegian, and the Collegian Online. I was the only staff member involved in newspaper ads during these two years, and the sole employee tasked with growing our client base and ad revenue. During my time as the Advertising Manager, I increased online ad revenue by 400 percent.

Working side-by-side with the agency's Owner and Creative Director provided me with valuable experience in graphic design, web design and high level advertising/creative strategy. I contributed to campaigns for national clients such as McGraw-Hill, Visiting Nurse Association and URS Corporation.

I generated media coverage for clients, compiled comprehensive press lists, constructed and disseminated press releases and pitches, conducted research, compiled monthly updates and case studies for clients and collected and organized all media coverage.

I wrote all content for the company's multiple blogs, created content for social media accounts, researched industry trends, planned events, raised brand awareness and helped increase sales through social campaigns and promotions.
