Lawrence D'Souza is a Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Pace® Life Sciences San Diego. He possess expertise in drug discovery, chemistry, medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, protein chemistry and 15 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "Lawrence and I worked closely together within the R&D department at Amylin Pharmaceuticals. As an Operations Manager, one of the more difficult aspects of my job was to complete the process of capital equipment inventories for the year-end budget allocations, and executing the purchase of capital equipment throughout the year. As a Senior Investigator in the Chemistry Department, Lawrence was a real bright spot in successfully accomplishing this complex process. Lawrence maintained excellent records with respect to the equipment under his charge. His pleasant demeanor, and willingness to always see even the most mundane tasks through to completion made him a delight to work with and he was definitely the "go-to guy" for the Chemistry Department. Our time spent working together at Amylin was underscored by corporate downsizing and a number of personnel layoffs that Lance was fortunate enough to avoid. His tenure at Amylin is due in no small part to the superior scientific and leadership skills which brings effectiveness and value to the organization -- attributes that were long recognized and considered common knowledge to his peers."
