Building an algorithm to speed up the time based synchronization of the various nodes in a network and to reduce the latency of access considerably

Worked with the software-defined-networking-focused spin-in of Cisco, Insieme Networks on the application-centric infrastructure (ACI).Role includes : Test bed configuration, Designing automation infrastructure, script based testing of the ACI features using Selenium/ Python and providing the required sanity/regression support.

This joint venture project between IISc and Indian Agricultural University, involves developing solutions to assess optimal water footprints of different crop varieties. It is carried out by an interdisciplinary team of research associates from Botany, Computer Science and Mechanical departments of IISc. My role was (i) to develop MATLAB code to convert raw data from the infrared detectors into usable data to be sent to mobile devices and (ii) to design and implement device drivers for Arduino on Android platform.

BTech Electronics and Communication

I had the opportunity to learn and test the communication module of India’s recently launched Megha-Tropiques satellite. With the supervision of my project guide, I executed few pre-launch simulation tests for this module. My stint at ISRO taught me the importance of software testing and the enormity of the data mining domain.
