Laxman Desai is an Indian entrepreneur and software developerAt 19, Laxman embarked on a journey of intense coding, locking himself in his room for over 400 days. During this time, he mastered his tech skills by solving over 700 competitive programming problems and building ResoBin (resobin.gymkhana.iitb.ac.in), a comprehensive full-stack course planner tailored specifically for IIT Bombay students. What began as a side project grew to serve over 10,000 monthly active users and earned an official IITB domain.Laxman emerged from his coding marathon with one of the highest-paying tech job offers at IIT Bombay. He then interned at Sprinklr in the summer of 2022 and secured a pre-placement offer (PPO). Alongside some friends, he also co-created FlappyMusk.xyz, a crypto game that went viral with over 100k gameplays, achieved with a $0 marketing budget.In the months prior to his final year at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Laxman & his team began building Fijit, an investor backed 'Tik Tok' for Games. He chose not to apply for placements and rejected his PPO to build Fijit full-time after college. As of September 2023, Fijit operates out of an office in HSR, Bangalore, with a 12-member team.
