I love coding. Let me be more specific—I love writing clean code. I’ve become a master at adopting ugly heaps of lines poorly written by someone else and cleaning them up so that I can maintain them moving forward without losing my mind.I yearn to learn and improve myself—both personally and professionally. I enjoy sharing my learning in symbiotic fashion with friends and associates, working together towards a common goal. While I take great pride in finding solutions on my own, it lacks that extra special sauce that comes from breakthroughs achieved working with others. After all, who likes to celebrate alone?I garner a deep satisfaction when I ponder a problem or challenge while away from the screen—I find much inspiration comes from letting it go for a while, percolating in my subconscious while I play piano, hike with my family, read a good fantasy/Sci-Fi novel, watch a movie, play board games with friends, or just about any other non-coding adventure life throws my way.
