I am an aspiring Data Scientist looking to make a difference wherever I go. I have previously been employed in the Finance industry and now find myself in the public sector. I enjoy applying my education to real-life situations and furthering my learning by gaining on-the-job experience.I have been involved in the Scout Movement for my entire life, achieving accolades such as the Queen's Scout Award, and have now chosen that it is appropriate for me to give back by volunteering in a number of different roles. My current appointment - and most challenging yet - is as the State Commissioner - Educational Purpose for Scouts NSW. This involves me advising on the educational objectives of the Scouts Australia Youth Program (recognised by UNESCO as a provider of non-formal education) to guide numerous organisational change initiatives, such as rewriting Branch policies and restructuring volunteer teams, and the delivery of the Program at activities held from a Branch to the Scout Group level.
