About Linda P

I'm on a mission to make education as thrilling as a Broadway show! With over 23 years of teaching experience, I've worn every hat from AP High School English to orchestrating the delightful chaos of third-grade classrooms. My journey took me from Mesa Public Schools to Queen Creek in 2004, where I dived into performing arts class design, took on mentoring, and embraced PLC leadership roles. In 2017, happily returning to Mesa Public Schools, I had the honor of contributing to district initiatives, serving on various committees, and proudly receiving the Mesa Foundational Skills Grant.Beyond the textbooks, I've been a performer with Mystery Players Inc. and Miziker Entertainment, directing, casting, choreographing, and living my passion for the stage. The theatre bug never left, and I continue to embrace the spotlight and the joy of creative expression.Inspired by the educational pioneer Dr. DuFour, my teaching philosophy revolves around community, collaboration, transparency, cognitive discourse, all nestled in a continual professional learning community. This means not just teaching but engaging in a dynamic exchange of ideas that keeps learning alive and vibrant. As I gear up for my Master of Education graduation in February 2024, I'm thrilled to fuse my wealth of 23 years of teaching and course design experience into new endeavors. Post-graduation in May 2024, I'm ready to explore opportunities that align with my passion for education, creativity, and community collaboration. Let's bring the zest and joy back into learning together!
