Project Lead for transitioning all of Disney's sports and entertainment networks to an HEVC platform. Consisted of researching, shipping, authorizing, and troubleshooting 15k Commscope satellite receive installations and condensed our distribution paths from 8 transponders down to 4.

Responsible for operating and solving issues that impact the video streaming and related platforms for FOX Now, FX NOW, and Nat Geo TV.Lead and manage technical operations team to proactively identify and resolve issues.Minimize downtime for Digital Consumer Group video and technical platforms.Responsible for implementing and enforcing workflows & policies:Develop workflows and manage processes between internal teams, service providers and service consumers through documentation, enforcement of change management protocols, security protocols and incident management.Improve visibility, increase speed to resolution and reduce downtimes.

Architected FOX's OTT distribution model utilizing the industry standards of SCTE-35, 104, and 224.Wrote FOX's SCTE-224 Implementation User Guide for Distribution Partners. This guide has been key to the success of the adaptation of this model.Worked with the Systems Integrations department to enhance and develop internal applications to support this new model.Worked with Engineering and Operations teams to enhance automation systems to support sending necessary SCTE-104/35 messaging in support of the SCTE-224 data.Worked closely with new DMVPD entrants (Hulu, YouTube, and FuboTV) to ingest this new distribution model. This has enabled them to automate the distribution of all of FOX's 500+ virtual channels. This includes FOX Broadcast Stations, FX Suite, NatGeo Suite, Fox Sports National networks, and Fox Sports Regional networks.

In this role I manage the Video Operations team of Fox Sports' TV Everywhere experiences. This includes all video content from FOX, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, and all of Fox's Regional Sports Networks within the recently launched application Fox Sports Go.In addition we support a wide array of live streams that are not sourced from linear television. This includes events for the Big East conference, supporting content for the Women's World Cup, NASCAR and IMSA In-Car camera angles, various High School events for Fox's Prep Zone, as well as other miscellaneous ad hoc events. For transmission of these types of events we use cloud based RTMP to HLS encoding system. When bandwidth is not available on site, we use LiveU and TVU technology as well.

In this role I manage the Video Operations team of Fox Sports' TV Everywhere experiences. This includes all video content from FOX, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, and all of Fox's Regional Sports Networks within the recently launched application Fox Sports Go.To provide these services I have gained extensive knowledge of Akamai's CDN configurations via the LUNA Control Center, thePlatform's MPX, and Anvato's MCP. I have also gained the knowledge of various encoding systems for HLS and RTMP as well as the HLS and HDS play out that Akamai offers.We successfully streamed the 2014 Super Bowl to over half a million viewers per minute making it the largest sporting event in web history at its time.In addition we support live streams on the Fox Sports Regional websites such as various High School games via Fox's Prep Zone, the Houston Rodeo, and KFAN radio web casts. For transmission of some of these events we have used LiveU and TVU technology from remote locations.

Provides managerial level leadership by planning, staffing and managing the network operations of a 24x7 mission critical broadcast facility. Takes into consideration costs, overhead, inventory and critical timing requirements to ensure that optimum operating efficiency of the NMC department is achieved. The department is responsible for providing: encryption service, digital blackouts of territorial restricted product, contractual related program switching, and affiliate launch support. Additional responsibilities include employee training and coaching to provide outstanding affiliate technical assistance for all cable network affiliates nationwide; ensuring commercial insertions are originated from the Woodlands Technical Center; managing the monitoring systems for recording begin and end times of all FSN Regional Networks; monitoring warehouse inventory, shipping and deployment of satellite receivers; and maintaining a primary database of all Fox Sports Net and national Fox Cable Networks affiliated cable systems.

Provide supervision of the NMC technicians and operators. Train all new employees. Compile and distribute monthly alternate transponder schedules. Provide technical advice to cable affiliates and assist NMC technicians with troubleshooting scenarios. Oversee all Compel and PNC switches during specified shifts.

Provide customer service to technicians with cable company headends. Install new affiliates and provide them with technical assistance. Responsible for group switching as designated through regional sports networks programming and affiliate sales departments for the Compel and PNC compression systems.
