About Leslie A. Delgado, Mba

I am a mission and purpose-driven catalyst. Professionally, I am Biz Ops Expert and Talent Sourcer that specializes in Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive sourcing. I use my exceptional leadership skills, high level of analytical thinking, excellent relationship-building skills, and outstanding time management/organizational skills to lead initiatives, connect with people, and think outside the box to find that raw untapped talent. I am also a very strong critical thinker and problem solver with a “can-do” progressive and adaptable attitude that is very resourceful and forward-thinking. I share my professional knowledge via educational content that I create and Linked In blogs to help those in their career journey learn the things they don't really teach in school. Individualistically, as a first-generation Latina whose parents immigrated to the US from Nicaragua, I am very passionate about serving the community, elevating underrepresented communities, and creating space for diversity, equity, and inclusion all around. As an outlet to showcase my passion, I founded and created Causa Y Cultura, a cultural and social awareness project that aims to spread awareness through online social media content (mostly via IG @causaycultura) and statement apparel ( via causaycultura.com). I also love to travel the world and learn about different cultures and ways of life. So far I have been to about 20 countries and counting. I also speak 3 languages and understand various broken English and Spanish dialects that I love to practice and use when I travel. I started an e-blog called "Lexy's Wander Vida" during COVID where I share some of my travel stories. Heartily, I serve as a Leader for the Dallas Chapter of Latinas In Tech @LatinasInTech , an organization that empowers and provides opportunities for Latinas worldwide in the Tech industry. I am also a mentor with Primos Dallas, an organization that provides resources to first generation high school students. Life is an endless journey that continuously crafts us little by little through our good and bad experiences. The more we become and evolve in our natural authentic selves, the more we align with our true purpose and find that happiness. Grateful for my journey so far ✨The best words to describe me are Problem-Solver, Authentic, Open Minded, Result Driven, Socially Conscious, Relationship Builder, and Influential
