I worked as part of the Users and Compliance Backend Squad, mostly centered around the refactoring of a major service into smaller, more manageable microservices.During this internship, I had to use Ruby which I had no prior experience with. I solved this by teaching myself Ruby quickly and contributing to our codebase within the first two weeks. I also gained experience with TDD and Microservices architecture.
