Over the course of Lawrence’s career the most notable about it is his being recruited to solve outstanding issues or problems for clients in many different fields of business. First and foremost companies have had a problem that needed resolving, or perhaps an opportunity to improve upon an existing level of service or core platform with new technology or new paradigms of transacting that business. Lawrence has always been rooted in how business operates, and understands the “big picture” of the corporate landscape. One recent example was for a large Wall Street client whose business was dependent on legacy voice equipment (AT&T 5E) from the 1970’s, and how to step into a new platform while not impacting their trading floors who ran 24x7 and other business units. Many hours were spent interviewing the employees from the CEO to the mail room. Although much of his career has now been with the major telecomm companies, the six year stint at AT&T consulting allowed that group to always consider and implement the best choice after researching all the solutions available for the customer. More than once the choice was not an AT&T vendor supplied product. Lawrence has always taken great pride in being unbiased in his approach, and champions logical business based outcomes.Always looking for new ways to improve in the ability to assist in resolving issues, Lawrence has kept current in all forms of technology including voice, networking, and hardware. Over the years Lawrence has earned certifications in Novell, 3Com, Sniffer, AS400, Microsoft, Nortel, Siemens, AVAYA, Lucent, and many others.
