Graduated Cum Laude from Shippensburg University. I hold a Bachelor's of Art in Communication Journalism with an emphasis in electronic media and a concentration in diversity studies. I've been in this business of news since 2013. I started my career as a digital production assistant at CBS 21 in Harrisburg, PA. After nearly two years, I trekked half way across the country with a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old in my trusty RAV 4 to Houston, Texas! Let me tell you, that was an adventure and not one for the faint at heart. I served as digital producer at KPRC, an NBC affiliate, for almost three years before I was recruited by TEGNA to lead my own team in Central, Texas.Again, we pack it up and moved to the middle of the state where I was digital director at KCEN, another NBC affiliate in Temple, Texas. There, I had the amazing opportunity to move our digital ratunh from last place to first, quadruple our digital traffic, mentor and serve some of the brightest up-and-coming talent and work alongside some of the smartest, driven people. It has been one of the best career decisions I've made so far! From KCEN, I was called to head the digital department at WFMY News 2, a CBS affiliate, in Greensboro, NC. Once again, we drove half way across the country to BEAUTIFUL North Carolina, where we now call home.
