Auberge Inn est une association de préfiguration d'une auberge coopérative de quartier. C'est un concept d'auberge "éclatée", dans un quartier urbain, basé sur les principes de l’économie collaborative (logements mis à disposition par des habitants pour accueillir les clients de l’auberge), du développement durable (insertion à la vie du quartier et économie circulaire locale) et de l’innovation sociale (principe coopératif dans le fonctionnement de la structure).

Un Tétrodon est un habitat mobile et modulable construit dans les années 70 et destiné à des logements pour travailleurs ou à des villages de vacances. Sa construction est vite arrêtée car trop dépendante de la production de plastique. Depuis 2012, 42 Tétrodons, récupérés par le fond de dotation de Darwin au VVF de Claouey à Lége-Cap-Ferret, sommeillent sur la Caserne Niel à Bordeaux. Reconnus comme « véritable patrimoine architectural », les Tétrodons peuvent désormais servir de nouveaux usages. Comme préfiguration de futurs projets hôteliers dans l’écosystème Darwin, une partie de ces Tétrodons est désormais devenu un lieu de vie et de réception. Autour d’une place centrale conviviale, les artistes en résidences et les invités de passage dans l’écosystème sont logés dans 4 tétrodons/chambres et partage un tétrodon/bloc sanitaire et un tétrodon/cuisine.
