Hello! I'm Leah, a Mechanical Engineering student and an enthusiastic advocate for women in STEM. As an immigrant from America to Israel, I bring a blend of cultures and experiences, coupled with bilingual proficiency in Hebrew and English. With a deep passion for engineering and innovation, I teach coding and English to children from across Israel through Atid Plus, an Israeli non-profit organization dedicated to helping youth break boundaries in science and math fields. I lead an coding and app design enrichment program for girls living in the Mikve Israel Youth Village, teaching app design with MIT App Inventor and participating in the annual Technovation Girls+ international app design competitionI am proficient in 3D design and CAD software, including Cura, Tinkercad and a CWSA certification in SolidWorks. In addition to design, I am also proficient in Python, MIT App Inventor, Microsoft Office and Excel.Energetic and adept at creative problem-solving, I thrive on challenges and excel in finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I'm driven by a desire to make a positive impact and empower others to reach their full potential in STEM fields.
