Working under Dr.Altamirano cardiovascular lab to explore models for atrial fibrillation treatments.

Worked one-on-one with multiple students from various educational backgrounds to help them maintain success in their classes to keep them eligible for their various sports. Displayed empathy and patience for students in areas they were struggling to understand to gain an efficient understanding of. Exhibited strong communication skills by explaining high level concepts such as human physiology in anunderstandable and digestible way for students with various science knowledge. Upheld NCAA guidelines for tutoring student athletes.

Help with collecting data for various projects that involve the endocrine process for male and female micereproductive systems. Demonstrated strong skills in working on various protocols that focused on numerous wet lab techniques. Worked with a 6-person team that relied on communicating data and protocols with each other effectively to assure projects deadlines were met. Presented data for the BSI scholar symposium and a poster at the CU Boulder Integrative Physiology 2022-2023 research symposium.

Worked over 200 hours as a volunteer in the PACU department. Aided nurses in various task such as transporting patients to and from the department, grabbing essential supplies, and cleaning bays in-between patients. Provided direct patient care by aiding in changing patients after their procedures, taking glucose measurements when necessary, and grabbing snacks for them.
